{I think that being at ERMHA has totally warped my mind}
Exciting times ahead!
Welcome to the first issue of the ERMHA Murmur for 2000. We apologise for the lateness of this edition but we have been busier than a one-armed man pushing a wheelbarrow. A lot has been happening since our Christmas/New Millennium edition. In January, we held two BBQ's to discuss consumer participation. These events were enthusiastically attended by consumers and staff who came from services all over Victoria to see what is going on at ERMHA. We enjoyed meeting and hearing from people such as Cath Roper & Allan Pinches and many others working to make consumer participation a reality and not just a policy. Anne Olsen wrote an article for New Paradigm which has been included inside this issue. Anne quotes one participant (who bears a remarkable resemblance to the editor of the Murmur) as saying "Hopefully the energy and optimism is maintained and reaches a broader audience. To live for the day when there is no gap between the dream and the reality."
Those BBQ's have been followed by a dazzling sequence of events which will eventually transform the entire world we live in. ERMHA's visionary leadership in the area of consumer participation has certainly kept our two tireless consumer reps very busy. They have been in earnest consultation with dynamic, charismatic world leaders such as John Howard and Boris Yeltsin. This has led to a series of meetings with the United Nations along with the assistance of several extraterrestrial and trans-dimensional beings from the angelic realms of reality. As a result of these inititives, we are pleased to announce that as of September this year, time will disappear. Humanity will return to its original state of unrestrained bliss. There will be liberty and justice for all and we will all live happily ever after.
We can't yet give you a precise date and time when this will occur. The ascension of a planet's consciousness is never easy to predict. However, we can offer you a list of the indicators that the process is well underway. You may feel lighter than you have ever felt before and not just in a physical sense. You may find yourself looking into the eyes of strangers and smiling and realising they never were strangers after all. You may start to feel an instant and deep connection to every living thing. To people and birds and insects and flowers. You may find yourself singing out loud for no particular reason at all. You may say to yourself, "Well, how did I get here?" Many people may experience instant enlightenment. So, if you should hear someone shouting "Aha! That's it! Now I understand everything perfectly" do not worry. They haven't gone off their pills. They have simply seen the light that was there all along.
Many unusual and exciting happenings will occur over the next few months as the ascension of humanity's consciousness reaches its glorious climax. As always, you can trust that the Murmur's intrepid band of repoters will leave no stone unturned in its quest to bring you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. You may be wondering what the future holds for you. Have no fear, once time vanishes, the concept of past-present-future will no longer have any hold over you. ERMHA will be conducting orientation classes for those who feel they may have some difficulty adjusting to life without a body.
