Two Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Method:
Serves 3 or 4 depending on how long it is since you last ate. Enjoy.
Change the music and have a nice, relaxing evening contemplating your existence.
Possible Variations: You could replace the noodles with a cup of cooked brown rice or some pasta. You could also consider brussel sprouts, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and many other variations on this theme. Eat this meal once or twice a day and you will grow up to be healthy, wealthy and wise. Well, healthy at least.
[
Prepare the vegetables by chopping them roughly into similar sized pieces.
[
Open the tins.
[
It might be a good idea to steam the spinach and broccoli in the microwave for a couple of minutes beforehand.
[
Put some Jethro Tull music on in the background. My personal favourite is
"Thick As A Brick" but your tastes may vary.
[
I highly recommend a non-stick wok for this recipe but you're welcome to try using some other cooking device if you're that way inclined.
[
Heat the oil and spices together in a wok. Along with a pinch of crushed pepper corns.
[
Add the onion and capsicum and fry until the onions have softened.
[
Add the corn, beans, sprouts, and other vegetables in any order that takes your fancy.
[
Stir with a wooden spoon on a fairly high heat. Should take no more than 5 to 10 mins depending on the efficiency of your stirring and your wok or whatever else you happen to be cooking in.
